The Federation of British Artists is the home of figurative art. In our 60th year we are bringing together the best of figurative art by launching a new vibrant, online, selling exhibition and art prize, Figurative Art Now. We want to see the broadest range of work that has any form of figuration.
At a time when representational and figurative painting is enjoying a welcome return to popularity and as society re-emerges into the light after the global pandemic, this exhibition will lift the spirits and give the public an opportunity to appreciate and buy new works in a wide range of mediums.
All works will be for sale online to our extensive audiences of buyers of figurative art.
Are you a figurative artist? Have you spent the year of lockdown creating work? Would you like to be selected by an eminent judging panel of artists and critics to show at the online exhibition, Figurative Art Now @Mall Galleries this summer? Figurative Art Now is open to all artists of any age working in the UK.
We seek a variety of work which must be figurative and can be created in a variety of media, including but not limited to, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and illustration to stun and captivate the online audience of art lovers from far and wide.
There is no size limit and the work can be either framed or unframed.
All work must have been made since 1 January 2020.
All work must be for sale until 19 September 2021. Please note that there is a 35% plus VAT commission levied on all works sold. All work should have a minimum sale price of £500.
Standard Entry: 1 work = £15; 2 works = £25; 3 works = £35 add 4 works = £45
Under 35s Entry: 1 work = £10; 2 works = £15; 3 works = £20, add 4 works = £25
We have put together an eminent panel of judges to select work for Figurative Art Now to include artists, curators and gallerists. Please note that the judges decision is final.
